As a work from the archive, two-pass (2014) reflects on the representational possibilities of the photographic medium. It juxtaposes black-and-white and color photography as well as analog and digital techniques. The images depict subjects that convey a subjective impression, photographic observations of light and movement, and images of museum-style staging of objects presented with a claim to objectivity. Overall, the images refer to the concept of display or are themselves gestures of showing.
